6/18/02. As Hayman fire darkens the sky northwest of Woodland Park, resident Chuck Hustig hits some balls at the Shining Mountain Golf Club near Hwy 67 in Woodland Park, as he does everyday. When asked why he's hitting balls right now, he replied "i need the practice." The town is on standby for evacuation, and Hustig is packed and ready to evacuate if it becomes mandatory.
